I hadn't seen this before; I'd give it a very mixed review. Skimming through briefly: emphasises the centrality of PEM and the limited evidence base for any treatment & lots of references to NG206 & IOM recommendations. There's a discussion around the GET controversy although the flaws in the research are not drawn out. Some rather good parts, some muddle, too many unsupported assertions, and even some novel speculation (e.g. the authors propose an "interoplastic mechanism in ME/CFS to explain the large number of interoceptive bodily sensations of irritation, dyspnoea, and gastrointestinal discomfort that arise from visceral and mucosal organs").

BMJ Best Practice is now available to health professionals free of charge in NZ & I am curious to know how good or bad it is.
From what I remember it didn't not have very problematic statements regarding GET/CBT or psychosomatic theories. But it was also not very precise on biomedical research findings (frequent overstatements).
