Today, I received this email from Margaret Parlor, President, National ME/FM Action Network. Most significant is that the conference is being funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research -- the same organization that previously denied funding for ME research because it is "not a disease". I apologize for the small print below. For those unable to read it on their device, the important text reads as follows: "It is with great pleasure that I inform you this morning that our grant application entitled: Canadian Collaborative Team Conference on ME/CFS: "Advancing an International Research Agenda to Address ME/CFS Research Priorities" has been accepted and will be funded by CIHR.
