The problem with type 2 diabetes is that all the money is used to find treatments for the disease not the cause or a cure. The US diabetes charity (I do not know about the UK one) is heavily funded by drug company money and goes along with this.
Indeed. But it stretches even further than that. Have you every heard of "Cause a problem, present the solution"?
On this basis the people making money out of CBT should be pumping money into ME charities that support it
