Differences - CBT and GET combined. Number of treatment sessions determined by the therapist. With explanation that too many reinforces the patient's belief that they are sick, and costs more. Questionnaires done online.

People who report more symptoms are usually ill longer, which is one of the few actual predictors of LC. That's usually the goto circular reasoning for this. It doesn't bother them that it's far more likely to be true than whatever it is they imagine instead, they have the power to write down their preferred version of causality, even though it's far less likely to be true than whatever they're imagining. There is demand for this hopium, and they will supply it in bulk.

This is what pacing is called in Norwegian - activity adaption.
So graded activity adaption means graded pacing.

I laughed out loud when I read it first time. It's just too absurd.
