Did a Multiple Sclerosis Study Give Us Clues About ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia?

From what I can see, there's a lot of conjecture here, more than anything else. It's looking at the role of hormones in autoimmune diseases, and whether testosterone is protective. There are a few links to small/emerging studies.

This is a Cort Johnson article in which he seems, to my foggy brain, to be trying to make links between different bits of research and making unfounded inferences. Is this wishful thinking, speculation or science? I hope someone with more knowledge can make sense of whether he's actually saying anything useful.
