    Folks I'm "researching":
    • diseases i.e. which resemble ME/CFS: Lyme Disease, Ross River, EBV, --- any other suggestions? and
    • organisations which represent those diseases i.e. which may cooperate with ME/CFS.

Thanks (in advance) for your help .

Bartonella for sure. Arguably Babesia, too, although this more closely resembles Long Covid in many instances. Most Borrelia iterations, e.g B Miyamotoi vs B Burgdorferi.

As for organizations which represent them, any Lyme org like Bay Area Lyme or Lymedisease.org or GLA (Global Lyme Alliance). I believe they are all literate in any alleged TBD. I say alleged since IDSA/CDC say Bartonela is not a proven TBD.

    ETA: Almost forgot Rickettsia!

Noticed that Giardia turns up in discussions on this forum i.e. since symptoms may be similar to ME/CFS - correct?
So I've got the following to research: Lyme + "Infections that cause ME (Ross River, EBV, etc) EDIT - Giardia added"

    Any further charities you'd recommend?

EDIT - any charities but ross river isn't a disease I've heard much about.

    Thanks

International Lyme and Associated Diseases Association (ILADS) is US based primarily Lyme society. I suspect most ILADS members including clinicians will be familiar with ME /CFS.

    Academy of Nutritional Medicine
They have annual conferences bringing together clinicians including LLMDs and those with knowledge of ME etc.

Any lobby groups or do you think "Academy of Nutritional Medicine" may be an option?
