I recently bought a tablet, and decided to see if I could find the stand I used for my work iPad 11 years and one house move ago. Surprisingly, I could.

It reminded me what a clever design it is, especially as a lot of the flip cases with built-in stands only allow you to view a tablet screen in landscape orientation. Which isn't much use if you happen to want to read music from it, or a book for that matter.

I thought I'd add it here in case anyone's looking for a cheap, effective universal stand to use on a flat surface. It won't work for someone lying flat, but does if you're partly propped up and using a tablet on a bed table/tray. You can view the screen at a range of angles, from about 10º off vertical to about 20º off horizontal.

Thanks you, mine looked like that to begin with!

Then I noticed a small typo, went into the post to change it (didn't do anything to the link), and when I saved the slightly edited version, the link was seven times as long.

Not always, but in general links can have everything from the question mark* on removed, without affecting their function.

    *Including the question mark.
