Easy sources of protein

What's a source of protein that I can keep in my room (i.e. doesn't require refrigeration or cooking) for times when I am craving protein but nobody is around to fetch me food from the kitchen? (I am upstairs-bound due to our lack of stairlift.)

I am allergic to nuts, so please don't suggest nuts.

Edited to add: snacks need to have minimal amount of sugar, as sugar crashes me.

I keep a packet of pumpkin seeds by my bed, but they're very bland and so I feel little desire to eat them, plus if I eat a large amount of them then it's very tiring to chew.

One of my favourite treat snacks is pork scratchings - the ones with just salt, no monosodium glutamate. A small packet can last a while. The dog gets excited when she sees the packet, as she gets a few pieces.

Boiled eggs - 6g protein each for large size.

Get yourself a klean kanteen or similar drinks bottle / flask - klean kanteen have a variety of types with lids you can buy separately and keep things hot/ cold for 12 hours.and spares are available - lids/ seals etc . Pricey but brilliant investment_ last forever.
This let's you have protein shake / smoothie/ soup to hand.

ETA. Same idea for insulated lunchbox carriers that you can put cooler gel/ blocks in . Let's you have stuff like cheese/ chicken skewers stored safely. Or keep cool with something like a frozen yogurt - keeps cool and eat when melted.

Crickets ..I had to eat a cricket protein bar for work...once you pick the back legs out of your teeth they’re not half bad. The bar didn’t have nuts in from memory ..it was chewy/chocolates
Sugar snap peas (fresh) or edamame (fresh or roasted)
Baked beans ...if you eat them cold
