We have been working with other local NHS Trusts to create a new organisation, bringing together all community, mental health and learning disability services from across Hampshire and Isle of Wight. Subject to approvals, the aim is for the new Trust to be formed by July 2024.Project Fusion is the name for the programme to create the new combined NHS Foundation Trust. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust will be bringing the services into a single organisation will result in more consistent care, more equitable access to services irrespective of postcode, and a more sustainable workforce and services. The new organisation will operate locally to ensure services can best meet the needs of different communities. The new Trust will be comprised of all the services currently provided by Solent NHS Trust and Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust, the community, mental health and learning disability services provided by Isle of Wight NHS Trust and child and adolescent mental health services delivered in parts of Hampshire by Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

It appears as though the long Covid, MECFS, pain and probably fibro (“complex MSK”) are merging.

I think this is important, that it is in early phases and that if you live in the area you could enquire about patient involvement if you felt inclined.

I wonder if other areas will look to follow suit, and whether MECFS services could be pulled into combined "needs-focussed not diagnosis-specific" services.

Do you think they know that the Isle of Wight is an island, separated from Hampshire by lots and lots of quite damp bits?

The question was raised at the Connecting Communities Integration and Collaboration Network Operational Delivery Board, none of the Board's members were in a position to confirm whether this knowledge was held and thus your Freedom of Information Act request was unable to be fulfilled.

No because they are going to be conducting group acupuncture combined with Acceptance and Commitment group Therapy so that wouldn’t be practical, but each patient will have their own set of needles for re-use at the next session to discourage them from returning.

    otherwise known as 'transdiagnostic'?

Agree that this is good advice noting the 'Sussex' part and imagining the Sussex group will think they are owning 'the voice of the patient' otherwise?

The registered business address and land line phone number for Vitality 360 is London SE21, which is Dulwich, West Dulwich, Tulse Hill.

Jessica Sands (the new name of PACE Trial physiotherapist Jessica Bavington) appears to be the sole Director of Vitality 360.
