Another irony...........Marie Claire UK used to be published by Reed Elsevier: "Reed Elsevier was formed in 1993 by the Anglo-Dutch merger of two traditional media companies. Reed had built a leading position in the lucrative magazine sector, publishing cash-cow trade titles such as Computer Weekly, and mainstream consumer brands including Marie Claire. Elsevier specialised in scientific publishing, producing academic journals to which universities and libraries were almost obliged to subscribe, such as the Lancet."
