#MEAction: Enrolling: Stanford School of Medicine Brain Tissue Bank

Brain tissue banks are able to provide ME researchers with samples to keep their research moving forward. Dr. Montoya and Dr. Plowey are accepting brain tissue postmortem from ME patients to study the role of mitochondrial functioning in those with ME.

I'm more curious if they will accept samples from the undead. At this rate by the time i can leave them brain tissue i won't have any left

I believe the issue in the UK is a lack of money. Two of the charities even did a feasibility study around 2010.

It's not even clear to me whether the future of the existing biobank is secure past the next few years.
