Mild sleep apnea

So for some years now i have had episodes where i wake up feeling anxious/outofit, and with a fast heartbeat. I thought it made sense to check for sleep apnea

Results:

The doctor said its completely normal, but as far as I understand 5 apneas per hour is considered mild sleep apnea, and I think its weird my average oxygen saturation has dropped to 94 % from 98 % in the span of three years too (deconditioning?). Should be noted that when i get tachycardia episodes after the apneas the oxygen saturation increase to 100 %.

I know a lot of ME-patients get sleep apnea. What does it tell us? Something going on with the nervous system? I find it really weird.. Im 29 years old, not overweight, and i stop to breathe in my sleep 5 times an hour a night. How is that normal?

Sorry im a little frustrated in how everything is just brushed off

Anyone else with apnea events?

I started having medium, not mild, sleep apnea maybe a year prior to the point of no return of my MECFS. I hadn’t had any apnea prior to this. I got a CPAP machine but I didn’t feel any better after using it, so I stopped using it.

I believe the underlying MECFS causes the sleep disturbances, not the other way around.

BTW, why are your results in English, and not in Norwegian?

"average oxygen saturation has dropped to 94 % from 98 %"

Is that the wrong way round?
