    I find it hard to believe that people are writing this sort of stuff. We know there are distinct profiles of musculoskeletal pain in people with IBD and have done for decades - they include a specific peripheral colitic arthropathy, IBD-assocaited spondylitis, and usual mechanical joint problems. If these are not identified for starters then I see no point in inventing mumbo-jumbo about central mechanisms.
