Why only females?

Re: Lyme - Even larger Why Only Females? Lyme is fairly gender neutral.

Lyme may be gender neutral in terms of numbers of males and females getting it. But that doesn't mean the metabolomics is the same between males and females. In ME big differences were found. With such small samples it makes sense to limit variability within groups so they can see if there are between group differences. That logically means using all the same gender for all the groups.
