    Oh I see. Well we wrote a formal complaint to atos and gave them a deadline to get back in touch and see where we could go next. ATOS ignored us. So we filed the papers with the court, the court then sent the whole file to atos who once again ignored it within another specified time frame. So as they failed to submit a defence the court found in my favour. Actually I believe they now have a CCJ registered against them.

    @Cemoi

    So...a crowdfund to pay for the bailiff fees?

    ...and make sure the press is there when they, the bailiffs, turn up at wherever ATOSs head office is in the UK :)

    Actually it was the amount we asked for. And yes it is derisory, but the claim was to highlight attention to our cause, not about the money.

    It wasn't until my friend passed away in October, now though I'm afraid that it is and will continue to be so.

    That would be the best "The Sheriff's Are Coming" episode in the history of BBC :inlove:

    I wish you hadn't made me aware of the existence of that program ...

    Well if the BBC fails, CH5 has a version called "Can't pay? We'll take it away", same principle, bailiffs chasing unpaid court settlements. Spoilt for choice ;)

    That would definitely make it worth the licence fee for me!

    True. But let's hope it doesn't come to that. I'm hoping that it won't
