Should it not be disease now instead of syndrome?
Moot I think. Depends on how modular and heterogeneous things turn out to be maybe.

Same.Probably still more accurate a name than “CFS”. I feel more drunk than tired with PEM.
I don't know if this question has been asked but can you distinguish which of the two ME types are affected by their ME being triggered by a cold or virus
Chapter 29 of the Kurzgesagt book and now I know what an interferon is (they're amazing!). I now understand two words of the title!
Short chapters, easy read, nice pictures - join me, fellow biology neophytes! There's still time!
For those who don't know, that was what he had engraved on his headstone.Milligan’s Disease as in ‘I told you I was ill”
Me too. Body-wide pain was there from day one, and the more I push myself, the sicker I get, and the worse the pain gets. Never less than a dull background roar, and usually more than that, sometimes very nasty indeed.Pain is a massive part of my illness including head to toe burning neuropathic pain which has spread but I’m often quite astounded that some pwME only have this as a minor feature.
Sort of like an Alfa Romeo….. a bit late but probably worth it.9.01 am in Italy...
NooooooooooooI cannot stand the Kurzgesagt book, too many errors and misinformation in the autoimmunity section in particular. I think wikipedia is more accurate and valuable to learn from.
When I'm waiting for something like that, I like to think of sleep as time travel - close my eyes and it will instantly be seven hours later...I bet the moment I go to bed tonight it will be published. It is just after 7pm NZ time right now. I wonder if I pretend to go to bed early it will come out sooner?
... and there will be seven pages of posts to catch up on.When I'm waiting for something like that, I like to think of sleep as time travel - close my eyes and it will instantly be seven hours later...

TBH, I was already wondering if dendritic cells don't really present antigens in hot-dog buns...Don't worry Sasha. The fun of science is unlearning all the stuff you thought you had learnt.
Most of the pure factual content will be OK but the story built around it will be full of mistakes. The fun is finding the mistakes and replacing them with something useful.
