I am desperate to find a doctor who will prescribe off label, typical ME drugs. I am currently on no treatment plan at all, never had one and I want to change that in hopes of getting better.
I saw Dr Teitelbaum does a 3 hour consult by phone with a treatment plan and since I don’t know much about him, I was wondering if this is a good option ?
It is quite a bit of money for me at the moment as I used all my savings to move. I would not be able to repeat this consult, or maybe just one more time, many months later. The goal would be to get a treatment plan that my current GP would maintain (hopefully she will agree to that but that not even sure). If she refuses, then I have a problem...
What do you think ? Is this a good idea ?
For Canadian patients, will my pharmacy accept a prescription by a US doctor ?
