    I suspect the minimizing disinformation in public health info is relatively widespread. Having not done an in-depth study, I can only
    guess how common this is.

    Of course, we are very painfully aware of this downgrading where ME is concerned.

    Concussions are another case. This condition has been in the news lately. Many people never recover from even mild concussions, and yet Health Canada advises most people recover in 10 days to 4 weeks.

    Likewise, for quite some time our Canadian systems said people recover from COVID in two weeks. This continued to circulate as the correct info, all the while reports of the numbers with prolonged symptoms were increasing.

    We know Fibromyalgia is minimized. Likewise Lyme Disease, and Environmental Illness. I haven't looked , but other conditions such as endometriosis may be officially minimized too.
