    I though that if it's inside your room, it wouldn't be visible outside? It also looks like part of normal decor, as opposed to door seals (not that any of that would bother me anyway, but it sounds as if your dad is more picky!)

    I asked him "did you see I sent you an email". He said "yes. I never said I wouldn't do it!" So according to him, Mum didn't accurately communicate to me what he had said. Who knows whether that's true - they both tend to paint each other in a bad light. Anyway he said he'll do it. Phew.
