Tobe clear - this is a notice that will go live sometime (soon?). But it'd be good for people to be preparing to apply.

She seems to be well qualified. If anyone wants to show their support you can e-mail the committee. cfsac@hhs.gov

I'd be wary of e-mailing an appointments committee to express support for a particular applicant for a professional job. They have to judge all applicants on the same criteria and may not take kindly to unsolicited recommendations from people who do not have relevant professional knowledge of her.

I remember almost not getting a teaching job because my dad knew someone who worked for the same organisation and pushed him into recommending me, even though the only contact he'd ever had with me was as my Sunday school teacher when I was a small child! It was very embarrassing when I had to explain it in my interview.
