Swollen area on upper thigh

    Indeed. It's a bit of a worry because they are needing to rule out anything ''nasty''. But, well what can you do only wait. I'll let you know what it is when I ''eventually'' find out. :hug:

    Hi everyone,

    I have good news. I finally (and fortunately, as my scan results were going to be left to be reported on for another week till I mentioned the fiasco I've endured and the NICE guidelines stating that my scan should have been urgent and within 2 weeks and I'd had to wait 5 weeks) got my MRI results yesterday and there are no soft tissue tumors, so no signs of cancer.

    The swelling remains a mystery but it isn't a concern and they are not doing anything about it.

    Fantastic news, @dangermouse. Doesn't solve the problem, but at least you can be more relaxed about it.
