When there's nothing else to offer Long Covid patients, there's always Hope (for "fatigue, anxiety and brain fog").

In what way is that different from a faith-based approach? Those programs are universally mocked and criticized for being useless. How clueless are these people?

This is basically the medical equivalent of government allowing homeless camps. How benevolent they are. So much expertise.

Exactly how much EMPLOYMENT are these multitude of courses providing? In the NHS! Huge numbers of NHS employees payed to churn out dross anti-science courses that don't help patients and frequently *harm patients*.

We are paying for this crap!

The cost of these courses is taking funds away from vitally needed NHS Services.

In addition to my post above about costs of the dross courses - how much skill is required from the staff who run these courses exactly?

These mind over matter courses require the staff to soft-soap patients and preach, waffle, and pontificate facile and fatuous pseudo theories. And when the patients fail to improve or recover, or are simply not grateful for the service, the patients can always be blamed for not trying. That is NOT justifiable use of NHS resources.

Negative skills. They are taking valuable skills and paying for them to not be used. It's the bottom-up version of paying very expensive consultants who don't add any value, often recommend useless changes just so that they can report having made those changes. But instead of a few very expensive consultants, it's thousands of moderately expensive skilled people misemployed indefinitely. So it's much worse.
