I think the gist is that they do not think about what they are actually measuring.
There are many assumptions on linear relationships that are simply not there - it seems that once you have converted something to a figure it loses its identity as a thing in itself.

I would disagree re dieticians. My cousin had cancer- her recommended diet was shockingly bad for that condition.
Guidelines re diet are not based on much solid science, more vested interests.
But then we have fostered 2 generations who cannot cook from scratch. That is a bigger issue.

Gravitational potential energy is mass x gravity x height, adding time and heart rate looks as though it' s trying to link heart rate to work done. Sort of like heart monitoring ?

This shows that CBT/ GET are not effective for any group, not even controls.
CBT is concerning for many as there is little robust evidence that it is an effective treatment for anything.
