Ah I used to be mild. I was in that sweet spot of being diagnosed, had the treatment, was still working, got worse then got told I wasn’t nearly sick enough to have ME, just depressed or something.

Yeah which is it that neuroplasticity can cure? I’ve done a literature review. 1. Post Covid Condition - one subject PG cured after 6 months of mild impairment, post Covid 2. Long Covid - one subject FS cured after 16 months of varied imparement. I think my main concern is that none of these...

If I say nice things to my coins, am I more likely to win? I’m going to say “win!” Every time I doubt whether spending all of my money in this way is a bad idea. Win!

Ah let them create a fuss about security. Nothing will happen. If they have received credible threats then they can provide the evidence on request. Maybe the PRCwill send some sleeper cell spies.

Thee was a twitter post about block booking the free tickets (and not going). I would have liked to go and do some Free Speech but I can’t. Physically. As in I can’t speak or sit up then. I’m not sure if I’m one of the threats, surely not. And we have mutual connections- given we live in the...

I’d love to but I literally can’t. Going to the opticians that day, so definitely won’t be able to speak by evening, and sitting up will be beyond my capability, too. Just release them, it’s not even in a huge room! Don’t let him say he’s being silenced because activists have taken the tickets...

Ah - he recovered from post-Covid condition. I don’t know anybody who had “post-Covid condition” maybe that’s something you can recover from using neuroplasticity. Completely different from Long Covid or ME/CFS. I really want to go and ask difficult questions.

Nah, let them have their echo chamber. Anyone with any sense about the oppression of scientists in China isn’t going to hear anything of interest from him.

Maybe he’s there as balance, as someone who shuts scientists up?They’ll be asking him why he takes up so much space?

He might be attending in his capacity as someone involved in disease and global healthcare.type work (hopefully) rather than a self-diagnosed and self cured ME/CfS/Long Covid/Post Viral Malaise thingy-whatever. ETA- I think also the location plays a part in who is attending.

    Miranda Hart - British comedian

Any cult/MLM/con artist will lead people up a path, and after a good halfway through they “jump the shark” and say something ridiculous. By which time, someone is in too deep to realise how bonkers it sounds. That’s why when we hear about it in isolation (aka verbally abused rice decays faster)...

UK: Disability benefits (UC, ESA and PIP) - news and updates 2024 and 2025

Why do NEST class it that way when the WHO and DwP class it as neurological?

UK: Disability benefits (UC, ESA and PIP) - news and updates 2024 and 2025

With the PIP you have to be able to do a thing -reliably -repeatedly (as often as needed, like cooking two meals per day) - to a reasonable standard - no longer than twice as long as someone without your illness So I can indeed walk 200m, but if I do that once in a day I then can’t walk more...
