Associations between gabapentinoids and suicidal behaviour, unintentional overdoses, injuries, road traffic incidents, etc., 2019, Molero et al.

Mine was exactly the same, only after the fact. Even after explaining what happened to me she didn’t really believe me. Mine prescribed 50mg from the start. That sounds really horrible :( I’m sorry you experienced that. Even on 50mg i never experienced anxiety. I really liked the almost manic...

Associations between gabapentinoids and suicidal behaviour, unintentional overdoses, injuries, road traffic incidents, etc., 2019, Molero et al.

I find this topic fascinating and equally disturbing. I already wrote about my strange experiences with pregagablin, i thought it was on this forum but maybe it was at the other place as i can’t find it. Was hoping to find it to save explaining again  I wasn’t in the worst age range...

CBD oil: Have the benefits been overstated? (BBC Health)

I tried a CBD vape a couple of years ago. It did absolutely nothing. I passed it on to a friend with arthritis and I think it did nothing for her too (though she was used to smoking the traditional stuff for her pain and she said there’s was no comparison between the two)

    Induced coma

Its a shame about the cost, it seems like a great way of forcing complete rest, something a lot of us struggle to do even on a basic level. It sounds like absolute bliss.

Noise cancelling headphones! Oh Joy! (and other ways to block sound)

They are amazing, I had to buy some as I was almost suicidal when neighbour below started blasting music every day a few years ago. Only problem is mine hurt my ears after 20 mins so I have to take them off regularly. The blasting music still shakes my bedroom floor from beneath but sound...

Crashed. Could hayfever have done this?

Sorry to hear you’re not good at the moment @Squeezy  It could be hayfever, or the meds, combined with life situations catching up with you at the mo causing you to be more run down than usual. Maybe its all been building and you’ve been too busy dealing with things to allow the crash to...

    The Week: I'm a 40-year-old stay-at-home kid - and it isn't so bad

So well put and true, this almost made me cry. The only reason i didn’t shed a tear is because i don’t have the energy to produce one right now. We need these bullet pointed and posterized

    The Week: I'm a 40-year-old stay-at-home kid - and it isn't so bad

Exactly my thoughts. The cost is too great plus, how long they manage to keep the PwME alive while inflicting and torturing said person with their version of help is anyone’s guess. The potential for finding ourselves in this situation in the future haunts many of us.

    The Week: I'm a 40-year-old stay-at-home kid - and it isn't so bad

"Oh come on," she said. "You don't want to live with your mother for the rest of your life, do you?" I don’t live with my parents because it was abusive; but at the age i’m at now, after 20 years of hell. If a therapist ever said something like that to me; presuming they’d been made fully aware...

Brain throwing a party before bed - not pleasant

This used to be really bad for me, it was like an old fashioned film reel exploding in my head. Explosive flashes of unrelated images firing at what felt like the front of my brain. I could almost hear the camera shutter noise. Very difficult to explain, but i’d also get this huge thumb shaped...

United Kingdom: National Health Service (NHS) news

We kind of have to discuss our private health ailments in public now; just in the GP’s waiting room. If we go in person to make an appointment, you have to tell the receptionist what you think is wrong with you before being allowed an appointment. What happened to confidentiality with the GP...

Thanks @Andy and @Itsnotallaboutmepodcast I’m listening now via the link, but is there a way to access other podcasts? I can’t download new apps to my phone as i can’t sign in to apple and don’t have soundcloud or twitter. Tried typing ‘its not all about me’ on the soundcloud page that the...

Does your ME cause sleep inversion?

Only had a quick look but one website said the hydro was 4 times as powerful as other antihistamines, and they thought it caused birth defects. They decided that something so powerful had to be put on prescription. But that was only a quick look
