I wonder how much of medicine would be found to not be useful if it were tested against sham controls. Certainly a lot of alternative and complementary therapies wouldn't do well, I would think.

For a Moss-Morris and Chalder paper, I thought this was reasonably reported and less annoying than a lot of their output. I'm not saying there were no annoying bits.
