Note that this is a study written by the owners of the clinic where the FMT is done. I'd take with a pinch of salt.
This is the same as all that herx stuff everyone always puts a worsening of symptoms down to. probability is the person is just going through a rough patch!
oh no. sorry to hear this. do you think the neuro symptoms were from Symprove or could they be from other factors? this doesn't fill me with much hope!
Have recently started a course of Symprove. I have a three-month supply. I'm on day 6 and I have felt very washed out this week - the fatigue has been quite brutal and has been present throughout most days.
I need to stick with it because I have no firm evidence that I'm not just going through...
I may do this. I did talk to someone before starting my claim. I can manage the system pretty well. I'm intelligent and well enough to understand the system. I just wondered if anyone had been in this, or a similar, position.
I do however regret not making it specifically clear that I could not...
Thanks Adam. Perhaps I wasn't clear in my original post because I didn't want to go into too much detail. As I have just started to claim UC I am in the self-employed start up year where the minimum income level doesn't count. So it's not so much what I'm expected to work (I could get round that...
Hi all,
I am looking for advice RE: Universal Credit and limited capability for work.
A few months ago I started claiming UC. I work freelance and despite suggesting that the maximum I work in a given week was around 10 hours, the option of limited capability for work did not come up, and I am...
At the end of the film it states that because of the vCJD risk "Nobody who lived in the UK between 1980 and 1996 is allowed to donate blood in any other country." I did not know this.
Last night's BBC documentary is a great expose and inditement of capitalist greed, Thatcher-era deregulation, and government policy. I'd urge you all to watch. The programme can be viewed here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0006p49
"The story of Britain’s biggest ever food scandal. Mad cow...
We are being bombarded with low-quality commentary pieces that get us no closer to our goals. I believe this is in part driven by the huge interest in journal papers on this subject. They often become the most highly downloaded and shared papers in the respective journals.
I don't really know what to think about this. I guess time will tell. Their objectives seem reasonable, though RE advocating for ICC I personally am not a big fan of the US ME4ICC brigade and how they approach the issue and go after other charities. Having said that, I do think some of the UK...
Had tinnitus in left ear since I first got ill in Spring 2012. It was how I knew something was wrong because I wouldn't have symptoms consistent with ME for another few years. Rather I had tiredness, some generalized pain, and the tinnitus.
It became worse as I got more ill several years later...
I did it myself at one point. I think by bringing up Myhill - who I don't have much time for - you have proved my point. She is the perfect example of a 'fringe' doctor; indeed, it is partly this that has got her in trouble with the NHS. Like Dr. Enlander, I'd like to see some proper evidence...
All this nutritional supplement treatment stuff was the main reason I moved from the other forum to here. As I said earlier, being a Brit, I had no idea people were spending hundreds of dollars a month on these 'protocols'.
As a Brit, the whole way the American system works, with all these doctors and their protocols etc. Just so bizzare! I mean it's good in a sense, because you get doctors trying different things - thinking outside the box, whereas in the UK everything is so standardized and by the book. On the...
