Unusual idea for a fundraiser!
What do YOU think causes ME/CFS?
We want to hear from you!
The underlying cause of ME/CFS is still a mystery… one that we are working hard to solve every day.
We know there are many different theories and avenues to explore, but we want to hear what our community...
Sorry to hear that so many are having these additional health problems!
But I wonder if I can steer people back to the topic of the thread... which is, are we at higher risk and if we are, what can we do about it?
These appear to be special showings at the British Film Institute in London.

Please spread the word to medics & scientists who might want to go! :)
At yesterday's panel following the screening of Unrest at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Luis Nacul (I think) said that he thought that PWME had a raised risk of cardiovascular disease and diabetes (have I got that right, @Jonathan Edwards?)

Does anyone with a clue about Twitter have any suggestions?
My impression was that that was the claim (although other factors apart from the microbiome analysis were fed into the model) - but perhaps the claim (or the truth) is that the variation in how the various foods are processed in the body affects the microbiome, rather than the other way round.
Part of the 'Unrest' campaign.
For US folks, a call to the NIH to fund ME/CFS research equally and fairly:

For everyone, 'We call on every government in the world to formally recognize ME and sufficiently fund research at the levels needed to treat and...
