If rituximab comes up good, then... :)
I heard this mentioned on this morning's news and I think that part of the mechanism of fast-tracking was to run in parallel the assessments that are usually done in sequence.
I've just been listening to the very interesting videos linked to from your blog and in one of the (not sure which) Egan or his colleague say that you might indeed need to retest and tweak. That's been my question, too. :)
Great idea!
Read the whole thing about this patient-led auction:

I think it's right to be cautious with these things. But what interests me is that there's empirical data supporting the claim that the algorithm can predict what diet will bring down people's blood glucose (algorithm derived from 800 and confirmed in 100, if I've understood correctly). I...
Hi Kalliope - how about starting a new thread specifically for this event, and adding it to the calendar:

Somebody (memory, memory o_O) said that in a few days, the LSHTM CureME group will be announcing a Justgiving fundraiser for £10k to raise money to fund a study to be run using biobank samples (researchers will have to apply and have their application assessed). I think a stretch-goal may be...
I hope I don't seem to be implying that @JohnTheJack is unreliable - it's simply that in order to make a strong claim (and calling anyone, let alone a public figure, is a strong claim), it's important that sources are primary ones. So whether John confirms what he was told or not, it's Gill...
Thanks for understanding, Ezzie! We've still got Gill's views being reported by a third party and I think it really is important to get these things first-hand.
Interesting that the bamboo duvet has weights: "The 2.5 Tog weight is a super light 180grm2, with the 9 tog weighing 430grm2."
That's grams per metre squared, presumably, so a double duvet (2m x 2m) would be 4 sq m and the 2.5 tog duvet would be 760g and the 9 tog would be 1720g, for a total of...
Thanks, Ezzie, but we still seem to be getting our info indirectly (from an Andy Hugh now).
I don't mean to be picky but in the past I've seen BPS people misquoted and while I understand that they're not popular and have a lot to answer for, I think it's important that if we're going to call...
Thanks! I just went over there and asked for their advice. Unfortunately, their lightest microfibre duvet (to avoid allergies) is heavier than the one I already have (but at least they were able to find its weight for me!).
