What's coming up? Conferences, webinars, publications, etc.?

Good point, actually! I've edited that. :) There was one back in June - it's 2017 now. :)

What's coming up? Conferences, webinars, publications, etc.?

It would be great if we could have a XenForo calendar  for people to bung events onto, but meantime, what's coming up? I'm aware of: Nov 1 2017 & onwards: Theatrical and community screenings of Unrest (list here). 2018: Publication of the Fluge/Mella rituximab trial 31-31 May, 2018...

Spoonseeker blog: A (Second) Letter to Dr Phil Hammond

Hi @Spoonseeker! Thanks for trying to change the format. Are you able to get into the html view? If so, you could manually bung some line breaks or something in. But I'm guessing you've tried that!

Unrest available worldwide today on Vimeo and iTunes

I got an email from the Unrest team this morning and it said (my bolding): So I gather that the more people watch this thing on iTunes in a short space of time, the better.

Spoonseeker blog: A (Second) Letter to Dr Phil Hammond

Just went to have a look and the whole thing is a wall of text, which I can't read. I've left a comment (currently held in moderation) asking for it to be broken up.

Video of Gold Circle reception for Solve ME/CFS - Carol Head & Zaher Nahle - Sept 2017

Seriously, I googled it, wondering if it was some sort of charity thing - a bunch of wealthy or connected people or something like that. The event took place in Minneapolis, Minnesota, but adding that to the search didn't turn up anything either.

Tymes Trust - No reported harassment of staff at Bristol University

Is it safe to assume that Esther Crawley hasn't received harassing material just because she hasn't reported it to Bristol University? If she was being harassed, might she choose to ignore it, or to respond to the person herself, or report it to the police? I think we need to be careful about...

Video of Gold Circle reception for Solve ME/CFS - Carol Head & Zaher Nahle - Sept 2017

Haven't watched this but it seems to be Carol and Zaher presenting on ME/CFS to... someone. I don't know who/what the 'Gold Circle' is. Anyway! Carol and Zaher are always good value.

Special screening of Unrest for MPs and honoured guests - oct 24

@Jonathan Edwards said on that other thread that Charles Shepherd would be a good person to ask for advice (the medical adviser for the UK's ME Association).

I'm not on Twitter, unfortunately, so don't have the means to pass that message on to her. Does anyone? Pity Charles Shepherd isn't here yet.

'Unrest' now in top 15 for documentary film Oscars

[Edit: Since I started this thread about Unread being in the Oscar longlist, it's made it to the next stage and the top 15 so I changed the thread title.] 'Unrest' has been submitted for consideration for an Oscar. It's on a longlist of 170 documentary films, but still...

Charles Shepherd and Jen Brea on Breakfast Time tomorrow

Just saw it - both Jen and Charles did a great job. The clip they showed will have been a real eye-opener - just horrific - and Jen stuck the boot into GET. :)
