if only!
That just makes me laugh. If anyone can show me where anything has actually changed in terms of treatment of patients, rather than lip service language change, i'll be thrilled to hear it, but the notion that everything has changed is laughable iyam
The trouble is that general populous now use the word 'fatigue' when they want a slightly more serious/impressive/medical sounding word than tired or 'knackered'. In the same way people say 'i have a migraine', when they dont know what a migraine is & think its just a bad headache. Ditto...
i take progesterone only pill (desogesterel), started 10yrs after ME onset to control endometrial hyperplasia. It may no difference to my ME whatsoever, no noticeable difference anyway. Bot of course that not the cmbined pil soo may not be relevant.
i was just picking cheddar as a random, common, general cheese, not as a specific comparator. My question was more about whether i had interpreted correctly that this was an issue related to helpfulness for bone density issues - which i have - ie jarlsberg/high K2 cheeses are better for that...
So if one is at risk from osteoporosis, Jarlsberg is likely to be more useful to you than cheddar in terms of calcium uptake/usefulness to bone density?
I dont know about others but i have pain, that i consider to be part of my ME, so i dont know what a 'fibromyalgia component' means really. So when i took the survey i didnt tick that, perhaps i should have done.

Just going to edit that statement from my own POV...

I'm not well enough at the moment to re-engage properly - i have only a vague recollection of the discussion/paper itself & not up to...

but no, surely it doesnt actually hurt that much Sid!? I mean it cant do, I cant feel your pain therefore it cant possibly exist.... surely you are just experiencing some kind of nocebo effect from your strong belief that it hurts. Start smiling more, that'll help.

this was my experience for both 2nd dose, flu jab & even worse for booster. Which was a room about 4x4m with a group of about 10 people all sitting, some maskless and coughing, in there, chairs touching each other, it was crazy & then each new person was ushered into the cupboard at...
