    Forward-ME Group Minutes - 8th May 2019

There were 3 posters on the medical education work that Tina M plus students are doing, at the IiME conference. I didn't notice them till towards the end of lunchtime and was having v useful convo with Mary Dimmock at the time. Am sure that info must be available from someone, or maybe on the...

    Forward-ME Group Minutes - 8th May 2019

I'm not sure that #MEAction South East is much more than a Facebook Group. However, I think that @chicaguapa, who organised the Southampton event might know him/be in his constituency. I think she has been in touch with him directly. Apart from @EspeMor I think MEAction runs on UK volunteers...

    Behavioural medicine

I'm not sure many doctors would agree with this. For many diseases there are practical steps that the patient needs to take to get the best results, particularly with chronic illness such as Type 1 diabetes. Managing it is about far more than injecting insulin.

    The ME Patient Foundation

I am on the Surrey ME FB group that Emma runs. Always seems to have good info/responses. Emma did the excellent tweets from IiME conference in 2018. It will be v interesting to see what they are planning, sounds very much in line with "our" approach.

Trial By Error: The Lightning Process Is “Effective”? Really?

Gravity-induced exercise intervention in an individual with CFS/ME and POTS, 2019, Ballantine, Srassheim, Newton

So @ Trish, are we assuming that someone is getting/has got a PhD from this?! If so it's a tragedy for all concerned.

Questions for Prof Simon Carding of the Quadram Institute, June 2019

It would be useful if he could clarify the position of Dr Bansal, regarding recruitment to the future trial of FMT. In answer to a question at the conference re how to get on the trial, he suggested that the lady's GP should refer her to Dr Bansal at St Helier. Dr Bansal retired from there last...

    The troubled history of psychiatry

As usual mothers are generally to blame... "overprotective mothers stunted their children’s maturation and were, according to a leading American psychiatrist, “our gravest menace” in the fight against communism; excessively permissive mothers produced children who would become juvenile...

(Not a recommendation) (UK) "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Conference: Costs, challenges and practice"

This looks prety different from the 2018 conference. It is termed a Fatigue super conference, not a CFS conference.
