The doctor's "motivational interviewing" failed to elicit patient "change talk". Change talk has been shown to be predictive of behavior change.
(I only burst out laughing once while typing that.)
Recordings for all the CFSAC meetings/webinars are here:

Not sure how long it will take for the latest meeting to be available.
I too was shocked, after going through the installation procedure, to have to call in separately from the slideshow.
My computer balked during the slideshow software install, because their security certificate expired last year. Had to manually accept the expired certificate.
Once installed...
I think the eBrief mentions type 2 diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and COPD but implies that changing patient behavior improves patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes and healthcare costs for chronic conditions in general.
I see no differentiation between chronic illness that is linked to...
ICD code recommendations 2 and 3 were voted on and approved. The federal agencies will have to respond.
(My healthcare provider doesn't currently allow a G93.3 diagnosis, only R53.82.)
Lucinda Bateman talking now. Her Medical Education Workgroup committee recommends establishing an ME/CFS "Project ECHO" to deliver medical education to doctors anywhere through a tele-mentoring program. Cost would be $100k-$200k annually. Sounds like this will be voted on later today.
Edit...
Sorry if the link to the eBrief PDF got lost in all that text. The direct link is here:

@NelliePledge
I'm sure it is. The more letters the better. I'm a quantity over quality kind of advocate (I just send lots of letters and don't spend a lot of time getting them perfect). :wtf:
Haha, you know me too well. ;)
I have previously (unsuccessfully) complained to UpToDate about their CFS content. I fired off another message to them this morning.

It's interesting to add Kristian Sommerfelt's study of twitches/myclonal jerks to David S. Bell's writings on ME/CFS in children.
Sommerfelt:
Twitches in shoulders or hands
Bell:
Abdominal pain (more common than adults)
Facial flushing
"Persistence of reduced activity" or "activity...
