Adolescent’s descriptions of fatigue, fluctuation and payback in CFS/ME: interviews with adolescents and parents, 2018, Crawley et al

Yuk I found it made me so sluggish and it wasn’t that effective after a while and I’m a middle aged chunky woman. I know drugs affect different people in different ways but I find it concerning they can’t come up with something better. Nortryptiline had less of a hangover for me so may be...

He spent a good chunk of his time for responding to the points raised in the June debate going on about how he had seen Unrest giving his take on the film and the effect it had had on him - it felt like MEsplaining to me. Clearly the film had not enough of an impact for him as public health...

UK Parliamentary debate today - Thursday 24th January 2019

It’s a process of ramping up pressure to force it to a point where change happens. Most of the discussions happen behind the scenes but having debates is a way of showing the weight of interest and backing. The round table with RCGPs might actually achieve something if the right people are...

Schoolboy, 14, struck down by ME during a football match – yet doctors dismissed his symptoms as him being a ‘lazy teenager’

I know I wonder if this is John Siddles work or if MEAssociation were just asked to comment. If they have placed the story I would have thought they would have done better to find someone more aware of the advocacy issues. Seems more like an AFME type story.

Petition: Review treatment of people with ME in Scotland

Sounds like too many of them are listening to AFME rather than MEAction.

Clearly Brine realised he was batting on a sticky wicket as he couldn’t repeat his waffling film review trick this time. Urgent call this week to RCGP to give him a fig leaf.
