Cochrane Review: 'Exercise therapy for chronic fatigue syndrome' 2017, Larun et al. - Recent developments, 2018-19

Yes there is a sceptic community, and ME patients have tried to alert them numerous times, but they don't seem interested. I believe it's unfathomable for them that the leader for the National Competence Service of ME/CFS, researchers as Wyller et al, politicians, institutions as The Norwegian...

I think you are adding a lot of useful background information for the forum. Thank you. Maybe the fact that the science director at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health has co authored this article in The Journal of the Norwegian Medical Association with (amongst other) a Lightning Process...

Suggested Pathology of Systemic Exertion Intolerance Disease [...] (2019) Bohne

Spotted this wiki-article about the journal in another debate about this paper. Medical Hypotheses is a non-peer reviewed medical journal published by Elsevier. Abnormal blood lactate accumulation during repeated exercise testing in ME/CFS, 2019, Lien et al

From the article mentioned above: - The study author says that this shows that ME is not a mental illness, but that there is a default in the patient's energy metabolism in the body? - This is of course just nonsense. It is too easy to conclude that way. ME patients are deconditioned and of...

Yes, I was thinking the same. She's head of department of systematic reviews at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, so I believe this makes her the boss to Lillebeth Larun, main author of the Cochrane review on ME and GET.

Abnormal blood lactate accumulation during repeated exercise testing in ME/CFS, 2019, Lien et al

The newspaper Dagbladet has written an article about the study. It's paywalled, so here's a summary: First there's a short introduction of the study Then follows some comments from researchers known for they biopsychosocial approach to ME. First out is professor Signe Flottorp. Then Wyller...
