It does make you an expert though. I can’t believe you’ve been denied a platform to talk about it /s

Sadly he is a Dr and an emeritus professor of epidemiology. Which goes to show, in the battle of the ego vs science…psychiatrists really should study these people.

Care and Support Plan (CSP) Template

So this is an example we’ve generated here - it’s a S4ME guidance, example and template? Or an NHS version? Sorry it’s still not clear. Which area is it that has a specialist nurse?

Care and Support Plan (CSP) Template

Hi Could you explain where this came from, and when, and your reason for posting it please? I have an interest in this and we’ve had a few other threads, I’m not immediately seeing what this thread is about or why it’s happened today.

I’m not clicking it because it won’t contain a minimum of 30% science. I wish the EU would take action on that (like they did for jam, has to actually contain some fruit) “science” needs to become a protected name.

A crumb of a clue on epidemiology

They generally have humourous cheeky adverts. This one is a classic “made in Scotland, from girders” (apparently that’s where they extract the iron from lol)

A crumb of a clue on epidemiology

How interesting…thank you! I do have quite a strong Irn Bru habit which I’m eyeing suspiciously…apart from that I’m out of ideas. Crazy to think Scotland had no ME services until recently given it’s the birthplace of it (joking)!).

    ME/CFS Atlas site

I feel like someone else here was thinking of building such a website? Or was it wishful thinking. Can anyone recall? Certainly, this is exactly the right place to look for help and support for such a project.

A crumb of a clue on epidemiology

I was looking for that famous “outbreak” of ME in America and came across this list. Iceland seems over represented https://ammes.org/outbreaks/

A crumb of a clue on epidemiology

They used people with majority of something white ancestry, I forget how they put it, but they used mine and mine is majority European but also includes black African.

Undescribable, subtle sensation of suffering in response to exposure to the outside world and activities

I can distinguish between the “impending doom” version and the “every cell is screaming” version because the “doom” one has an emotion attached to it (embarrassment, guilt, regret, hopelessness) and the other version doesn’t. But I only ever experienced the “impending doom” after excessive...

A crumb of a clue on epidemiology

Is it too much of a stretch to think about the decodeME genetic regions? I know they’re not specific but are any of them correlated with diseases that are high among say, Northern European or British? also how recent/strong would the Scots/English ancestry need to be? 3 generations? Six?

Undescribable, subtle sensation of suffering in response to exposure to the outside world and activities

It sounds similar to, but not quite the same as “impending doom”? I feel (after outside social interaction) a sort of fatigue which seems to radiate out from every cell of my body but isn’t located in one place. Usually by this point I have actual pain in my muscles as well, my breathing is...
