Hello, I'm on approximately day 45 of a trial of aripiprazole (Abilify). I wanted to do a post around day 50 or so, but I am feeling the pressure to post based on the recent Abilify thread. I decided to try Abilify after hearing that Whitney was improving on it. I have progressive...

Understanding long covid: a shortcut to solving ME/CFS? Simon McGrath

It is not a useful term--I am sure. I agree with @Jonathan Edwards here. And I've mentioned this on this forum before. Let's all try to avoid using the term Long Covid, as it will likely bring Long-term problems. If people who had Covid, haven't recovered and have the neurological symptoms...

US: Annual ME/CFS Working Group Meetings from 2020. Stanford/OMF

Maybe someone on twitter could tweet at Janet Dafoe to indicate a couple recordings (not all) of presentations that patients would be interested in hearing, e.g. Mark and Ron Davis and Robert Phair.

    New Sleep Poll

I suppose by biphasic sleep I mean at least somewhere between 2-3 hours awake between 2 separate sets of sleep. So go to sleep at 1030PM wake at 2AM. Awake from 2AM-430AM. Second set of night sleep from 430-8AM. Something like that. ETA— I posted this at the same time as the @James...

News about Long Covid including its relationship to ME/CFS 2020 to 2021

FWIW I just sent a request to the NYT for a correction of this sentence. "Immunologists speculate that long-haulers’ symptoms might persist because they harbor fragments of viral genes that are not infectious but that trigger violent immune reactions." I believe that Ron Davis' group has/had...

    New Sleep Poll

This poll is an updated version of the one from 2018 Biphasic sleep is a subset of problematic sleep maintenance. Some people many wake for half an hour and fall right back to sleep. Others may stay awake for several hours before going back to sleep--this is more like bi-phasic sleep.
