    Pseudobulbar affect anyone?

This is a ridiculous price. You could make your own. Dxm is over the counter and quinine is easy enough to get . Alka Seltzer Gold worked wonders. I used it for 2 years. This was horrible when it happened. I did recently have a round of neurophysiological testing and I tested fine. No permanent...

Firefighters Worried Dirty Gear May Be Causing Cancer - Video - NBC10 Philadelphia (2018)

The uniforms should be cleaned ASAP. All the high talk of about hero’s and they are not given protection. In my personal me/ fibromyalgia journey I discovered that we must inform ourselves of chemical exposures and harm ( for example roundup). Prior to becoming ill I would have thought it...

Annie Hoppers Dynamic Neural Retraining System

Still doing Dynamic Retraining. I actually stopped it for about a few weeks but felt myself slipping. At the back of my mind I felt like a jackass practicing these recitations but while actively practicing I noticed slight improvements . Since doing the retraining I have been sleeping indoors...

Annie Hoppers Dynamic Neural Retraining System

I will admit I am practicing Dynamic Neural Retraining. That said I had improved about 80% prior to when I started the program last week. I would get brain fog and have reactions if I remained indoors for too long. My sense of smell is not sensitive at all just the opposite. I have lost a lot...

Mental health awareness week includes neurological conditions?

My mother suffered from epilepsy. (1950’s) She was taken to a doctor that treated mainly psychological illnesses. Her cousin talked her into going to a neurologist at University of Pennsylvania. Was put on correct medication for grand mal seizures and never has another seizure. It is...

A famciclovir + celecoxib combination treatment is safe and efficacious in the treatment of fibromyalgia. Pridgen et al, 2017

Celebrex alone does nothing for me personally for fibromyalgia pain. I would put it with nsaids. Prostaglandin inhibition for myself does nothing for the fibromyalgia pain I had. Believe me I wish it did.

This is truly disgusting. Thank goodness for the Internet. Hopefully will bring pressure and embarrassment to the government’s that allow this .

A famciclovir + celecoxib combination treatment is safe and efficacious in the treatment of fibromyalgia. Pridgen et al, 2017

I did valtrex ( very similar to Famvir) and Celebrex . I still pulse this if fibromyalgia acts up. This combo greatly decreased my fibromyalgia pain. Glad to at least see some studies starting. I think “ ibs” and Fibromyalgia may be caused by latent viruses that get reactivated ( in my case I...

Positive and negative affect mediate the ... relationship between emotional processing and symptom severity ... in IBS, 2018, Moss-Morris et al.

My “ ibs” went into a brief remission after Xiafaxamin. It came back. After leaving my moldy house and possessions behind I no longer have “ ibs” . I had ibs for about 30 years. I think in my case it is sensitivity to my environment nothing to do with emotional issues which was rammed down my...

Prognosis of ME/CFS – by David S. Bell, MD

I agree Webdog according to medicine my health is good even though I am disabled. Mermaid I do not accept this either. I will do anything that seems plausible to get better. If you told me treatment that would get me better would shorten my life I would not care.

Environmental Exposures as a Potential Underlying Factor in Chronic Fatigue Syndrome; a Case Report (2017) Arseneau et al.

Ugh! We need good unbiased studies. True mold/ chemical avoidance is very unprofitable. I did try to go to doctors and they are willing to “ treat” me with expensive unproven treatments. Not sure if anything worked at all except sleeping outside to avoid indoor “ air pollution “ whatever it is...

Article, "Dear worried well, the internet is not your friend"

I worked as a community pharmacist and often was the unofficial triage. I had no diagnostic training and did not feel comfortable in this role but in many cases the answer was obvious. I think there should be st least rudimentary training since I was the only healthcare provider standing on the...

Environmental Exposures as a Potential Underlying Factor in Chronic Fatigue Syndrome; a Case Report (2017) Arseneau et al.

I hope more research is done on this topic. Or at the very least more awareness. I improved greatly by doing a “ mold “ sabbatical as discussed in paradigm change. I stayed away for 3 weeks . After 2 weeks in the desert my cfs was in remission . Came back to NJ ill with cfs again in a month...

Justy I am very sorry . This can be horrible and is very Embarrassing. You are not alone. I had similar episodes. I don’t think mine were true pseudobular effect but I would get uncontrollable sobbing and bang my head on the kitchen counters. I was not upset about anything. These would come on...
