Complains about health
Complains of pain
Expresses fear of getting sick
Complains of stomach pain
Has headaches
Seems lonely
Misses deadlines
Complains of physical problems
Has trouble concentrating
Has seizures
Is suspicious of others
Is irritable
Is afraid of getting sick
The relevance of these questions to psychopathology are incredibly context dependent. We've already talked about the context of the child having a debilitating physical illness, and that will be especially true in the first few years when the child is experiencing the most dislocation to their life.

It has just occurred to me that a global pandemic is another context that would make the lines between the answers and a diagnosis of psychopathy even less reliable. 'Afraid of getting sick?' - perhaps that is the healthiest emotional response in that context.

A paediatrician with a white coat in a respected Childrens' Hospital can probably credibly diagnose a patient with psychopathy just by looking at them and their mother as they come in the door.

A person with a diploma in child psychology in an office on the strip mall probably needs the ritual of the process and the certainty of dots on a chart with lines drawn between them.
