I love Public Health. I was very sad when the UK eviscerated ours. Around 10 years ago. We didn't know then, that as designed, this would ruin our bird-virus pandemic-prep. And its trial run. By dismantling the PH networks, and pretending its like human flu. Regardless of the 2003 deaths etc. Now the bird-virus is killing lots more birds

And by 2025, some suspected that this human-flu pretence was refreshed. To explain a new peak quad-emic. The combination (and re-combination) of germs, inside us, got itself a lethal reputation already. With the bird virus hovering all around

Breaking a fast, at breakfast, is a sacred ritual. Woe betide anyone who promises, but does not deliver, affordable breakfast. It might take too long to change the habit and eat something else, once woken, hungry and in a hurry to go go go.

But the troops probably have enough dried egg powder to keep them happy a while longer. To come between a hu-man and his stomach is a grave mistake

YouTube has not stopped showcasing the national broadcasters. All quoting these silenced government agencies. On the price of eggs. And the bird body-counts. Local government, state by state, is still reporting. Its just the national reports suspended including 3 new CDC discoveries re bird fl. Yes, I'd like to know, too. Me too

The broadcaster below (male) is quite upset about the price of eggs. But happily, the government told everyone: "The eggs are safe to eat. Just put them in the fridge asap. Cook them thoroughly. To 165 degrees. To kill any bacteria. And virus". Sounds very safe.

Not a word to say "Do not let the vegetables and the children come into contact with the eggshells. Keep on a separate shelf like you would meat. Not a word about washing hands after touching the egg-shell. Think where its been. We always washed hands after touching raw meat and eggshells.

Eggs are safe. We are safe. Because the risk of transmission to us is "incredibly rare". 67 human cases (USA). 1 death. But that was in Louisiana

What I don't understand is why the nations were not grieving for the plagued birds, dead in their trillions, everywhere. Not that I want them in my house

The price of eggs is not dropped by the fabulous new President, as promised to get elected. In particular he cited eggs. Said he would at least try. He has kept his appointees happy. The muscle is let loose. But the people are displeased

It is due to the rocketing price of eggs that we are kept informed of the 136 million birds killed or infected. The 13 million killed in the last month, just to slow the spread. Must be dire, to slaughter livestock,, like a fire-break in a forest.

That is the 13 million "drop" (cull) explains the spike in egg prices. But not to worry because the broadcaster says: "It will get worse before it gets better, unfortunately".

You see: "It will take months to replace the 13 million birds in order to bring down the price". Good luck with that. We may be eating myco-egg substitute before that. And it would be more humane. But nevertheless, people may riot for an an Executive Order to bring down the price as promised

Come what may, we cannot be distracted from the price of breakfast.

But myco-egg substitute could be laboratory grown. Maybe mega hen-ranchers can re-invest in laboratories. Like the hyrdroponic vegetable ones. This would need government grants. So maybe they can just cut their losses and sell out. Stop factory-farming. Rejoin the human race or get a people-factory contract. Convert their hen-hutches.

So the track record goes like this:

To vaccinate 20 million birds and then some

Just before Mr Trump got the keys to the palace, the government had promised to donate $600 million dollars, to Moderna, to accelerate bringing bird-vaccines to trial on these woe-begotten captive birds.

This $600 million is on hold. Mr Trump promised to bring down the price of eggs. Make or break. Maybe this is all that matters. The price of everything.....and the value of nothing. All or nothing

Government and Business are playing chicken on the main road. Which one will give first

I might well agree that Moderna should re-invest its stunning profits on human vaccines.To fund its own start-ups in future. $600 million is peanuts to Moderna

Just not peanuts to Moderna's shareholders. And creditors. And investors. All bought and sold too. So where does a bird vaccine come from next? Fancy vaccinating 100 million birds. Its not a needle job

No good holding the world governments over a barrel on bird-flu. And its a killing suspense. If indulged, then what will Moderna do, to kill the suspense. When the next, predicted, human pandemic strikes

Internet-sourced: after all, the vaccine market has a captive clientele in USA, like nowhere else. The state is already paying for the most extensive mass vaccination of children. Not needed in the Uk and Europe. But all nations stocked up on "birdflu" vaccines. Most still sit on their stocks, waiting

USA babies were said to need masking in the commercial nurseries. Except when put down for a nap in the nap room (too dangerous as unattended)

These are great lengths to go, to avoid 2 metre distancing. And air-filtration with ventilation equipment. And other drug research & development. And nursing, income support, community care and public housing. Will bird-flu bring all that back, in time, before human flu rockets too

Before or since USA vaccination became mandatory, people in the USA continued to lose a lot of enthusiasm for vaccines. This is said to be because there was no mass crippling and mass death, in their lifetimes, e.g Diphtheria, e.g Newborn Hepatitis. The internet tells me that Europe is nowhere near so keen to vaccinate children.

And there is much disagreement on the repeat vaccinations, if needed or not needed. For me, vaccination is a medical risk so I can't take a view on herd immunity

In its neglected vacuum, the eradicated bird cohort and its markets, did collide with some marketed competition to dismantle states, federations, blocs, maybe even cartels, and all over-arching uniting union and organisation

On the grounds that a higher authority would be bossy. Even God is too bossy but he can be spoken for. Ditto birds. Dumb birds are just blonde. Not black, not brown, not ginger. Each to his own. Its just the birds. Who needs pesky wild birds. For breakfast. Who eats bats. Who sanitised your eggs

Dismantling of states allowed the un-bossed to be boss, while globally contempting Health & Safety. Eviscerated it, slung it overboard. Public Health. Environmental Health. National Health. Occupational Health. Wild Life. Livestock. Horticulture. Food and Drugs, Air and Water. Peace. All protections dismantled. And the plagues run riot

That was then. In the past. Not necessarily sustainable in the future

We've been told that Mr Trump was born in times of polio and so he promised to secure the polio vaccines. He is a reasonable man. The USA farm-workers were not yet being given the bird-flu vaccines in stock. Maybe Mr Biden did no do as he was urged to do: authorise the bird-flu vaccine release, urgently

Hygiene:

The normal flu incidence dropped within a month of Boris telling the UK to wash its hands. I was vastly impressed with those statistics. But Mary Poppins he was not.

We've been told, quietly told, not to touch or go near dead birds and sick bird. Of which there are many. No-one told us yet what to do about the bird-shit everywhere. Does one wear gloves and wellies when washing the splattered car-roof, windscreen, and bonnet. Since the killer Sars of 20 years ago, why not

Really, who, but who, is spending what on propagating the "its a scare story" along with the market advice (of summer 2020): "Wait for the scare to blow over and the price of property will recover with the market". Is this wishful thinking or is it black market thinking. How does bird flu affect the world markets so far?

The broadcaster (female) is not at all bothered by the price of eggs. Looks like she can afford it, so far. And it gives such a good balance to the broadcast. He is squeaking at the price of eggs. She is all casual. Says its been a long time (3 years) since eggs were cheap, before this "flu" broke out in January 2022.

It was newsworthy once it spread to cattle, then again once eggs got unaffordable on a Presidential promise. I think this reportage is very unfair on birds. Distinctly biased

70% price rise in California, where the state declared emergency, only because bird "flu" spread to dairy cattle. Average national hike is 37% on a box of egg.

Eggs Are Now Rationed (to save stocks. Of eggs. For who. You may well ask. Its like the fuel policy: "Those who can afford it will pay the price, those who can't stop buying, so we won't run out of fuel. So no worries")
