It might not have made much difference to me when I was 25, but now I'm getting long in the tooth I'd rather avoid the sufferers if at all possible.
It should be common knowledge (at least amongst athletes it is) never to train during an infection, especially not during the flu! It is well-known that the possibility of having a myocarditis is relatively high.
