How awful. Embarrassed to admit that I never realized she had ME/CFS for some reason. Makes all the work she has done for Solve even more impressive. I truly wish her all the best, and am incredibly thankful for all the work she has done. Solve has been one of my fav ME/CFS charities the past few years and I hope they will be able to find a great replacement !
Best wishes to her. She seemed to have done a good job. I remember probably last year or the year before she mentioned she still had to be careful and only did something like 3000 steps a day. That sounded to me a long way from full recovery.
From my point of view Carol has been a catalyst in moving Solve ME/cfs and our disease forward. i am so sorry that her health is not as good. Sending her best wishes and thank you for all that she did.
It goes to show how invisible this condition can be if we can’t spot one of our own ....also I find the step comparison revealing she has a similar envelope to me ..yet I’m still trying to work full time ...perhaps I’m kidding myself. I guess I’m lucky to have a less demanding job I suppose. I have full admiration for her work and think this shift has been handled very openly and sensitively. Edited: spelling/missing words
