The videos are unwatchable for me without the subtitles. Since I have to mute them. But just the pace is wayyy too much. I would prefer the text simply written down. Or atleast a transcript alongside the video.

Also, using automated captions is a bad idea in most cases, but it's even worse when it's a medical or technical video ("Welcome to this short video series on myalgic and sephilomiitis").

Anyone who is serious about helping folks learn more about a topic should include a corrected transcript with their video. Then people can either read the information without the video or they can display it in a font size of their choosing while the video plays.

And get rid of those burned in captions.
 
I didn’t know much about CrunchMe or Rory Preston, the guy behind it, and the link to their website (a Notion wiki) wasn’t working for me. But I found this article interesting background

He’s also behind visible and a dodgy study using visible HRV stats with all sorts of methodological problems including an especially bad case of non blinding. (ie. showing the participants their HRV in the morning, telling them they will have a good/bad day based on it, asking them how their day went in the evening. And using that as proof that HRV correlates with…)
