Daratumumab, isatuximab (CD38 drugs)

If I’ve understood correctly, the PCT only allows you to file that you might want to register a patent in the member nations, and then you have to go through the entire process for each nation/union etc. that you decide to actually try to get a patent in.
Ah, you could be right there - I must check. As I said, it's a long time since I've had anything to do with PCT Chapter IIs, although I have encountered the odd PCT/EP more recently.

I’m just going off of Wikipedia and google, so you probably understand more of this than I do!

He followed the Fluge and Mella protocol; he has been in strict treatment for quite a few years.
That's disappointing to see...any information on his NK cell count etc?

He says it's stabilised him and he has a mild improvement with exercise tolerance. That could easily be natural fluctuation but maybe some severe pwME need a higher dose or more than one course of treatment.

I'll be very interested to see what happens to the severe patients F&M are looking at as an expansion of the pilot.

It does give one pause that there aren't any stories of major improvement from off label folks so far.

Normal NK cells, I think, if I remember correctly. He had his injections 5 or 6 months ago... Yes, worrying. Maybe it doesn't work very well on the most severe cases... Now I'm really worried...

Im quite worried too fwiw. However, there are all sorts of factors that could be influencing who responds and who doesn't, esp outside of a controlled setting. All we can do is wait and see what the trials bring. We should know about the pilot expansion with severe cases fairly soon I think, maybe even next week at Charite!
