    Here you go, @Sean:

The audio recordings from David Tuller’s meeting with members of the Sydney ME/CFS community on Sunday are now available. In Part 1, David talks about the history of his involvement with ME/CFS. In Part 2, David talks about his Australian tour and answers questions from the group. Many thanks to David James for these recordings!

I realise it's a long shot, but is anyone here going to this lecture in Hobart?

    Thanks for that, @Sly Saint.

Is Tuller doing anything in Brisbane itself?

I was in Hobart yesterday to meet David Tuller and listen to his presentation at the University of Tasmania. He spoke to an audience of 40 or so who were mostly patients and carers with a handful of medical students and professionals. He spoke very clearly and passionately about the nonsense of the PACE trial and I thought it was well received. There wasn't anything in it that I didn't already know but it was great to meet and hear it from the person who has been so influential in exposing the absurdity of PACE.

The interesting thing for me was to meet a Hobart based neuroscientist in the audience with an interest in understanding how blood flow is regulated in the brain. He seems to be taking an interest in ME and is planning research which will involve an Australian ME biobank that is apparently in the process of getting off the ground.

Yes, I was very encouraged to see that even at U. of Tasmania there is interest in advancing biomedical research. The neuroscientist had trained at Oxford and knew my buddy Michael Sharpe but was 100% on the non-BPS side of the issue. He said he had definitely sensed a change in attitude toward the illness in the last year or two. It was great to hear that.
