This is one of the weirdest parts about this. We've been discussing the rambling output of this discipline for years, most papers published, and this is simply never considered. This concept was accepted as fact before any evidence, and no credible evidence has been produced since, and there is still never any consideration of the possibility that it's wrong. It's either unthinkable, or taboo to even put the thought together into writing.
Which is normal for a pseudoscientific belief system, but it's still so damn bizarre. Intellectually, it's on par with young earth creationism, and wow do I wish I were kidding or exaggerating here. I regularly see religious scholars more openly express doubt about their faith, and it's completely random, because unlike this garbage heap of pseudoresearch, I don't look into it. I have not seen a single thought out of medical professionals given to the possibility that any of this is wrong, and especially its signs (what it would look like if it were wrong, which is exactly what it looks like) and consequences, outside of a handful or so who mostly reject it, but keep it relatively quiet as it's basically grounds for excommunication.
