We are live-streaming a full day of Dianna’s life, sharing what it’s like for someone suffering from chronic fatigue. We will also be raising money for @OpenMedF

to support research and clinical trials for #LongCovid and #MECFS Time: Saturday, July 6th 2024, from 6:45 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time

Over $14,000 raised to OMF in the first 45 minutes alone, already over the goal of $10,000. Incredible.

Already nearly upto 30’000 this is crazy!

 

The goal was changed to 100k. Meanwhile we are at nearly 40k and there’s still a long time to go!

 

Amazing.. about $46k.. good for them for doing this. Great way to show the disease.

 

I really hope someone uses her following and reach to make educational videos about ME in the long run.

The reach this is getting is very heartening. It's the top post on r/videos, which has 27M subscribers and is the 15th largest subreddit. Over 1,000 comments, with lots of people curious about what LC and ME/CFS are, asking for information and educational resources.

One person just commented that they just learned from this that they might have LC.

 

Over $100,000!

 

To put it in perspective, in 2023, OMF received $2.9 million in donations, $5 million in grants, plus some smaller amounts from other sources, for a total revenue of $8.3 million.

Over 100k and rising. if most of those donations are from people suffering L C it is a testament to the growing problem that governments are trying to deny .

 

Cracking the $100 000 is nice. I hope this can somehow be used to continuously inform more people or somehow be used to gain momentum. The attempt at getting Jon Stewart involved looked promising.

 

Yup but 3-4% increase in donations is good actually.

 

Oh yeah definitely, every dollar helps. I was just curious about how much they were already getting.
