Many who suffer from chronic complex diseases are often met with disbelief from family and physicians leading to isolation, grief, and even suicide.
Your life depends on your medical providers knowing about your disease. Your life depends on solid support through the trauma and relief of diagnosis and your journey to build a life with a debilitating illness that the world can’t see.
The first step is validating patients. Our nonprofit clinical care and research center does just that by setting the standard for clinical care of ME/CFS and FM with our evidence-informed approach.
We know what you experience is real. We trust you. We are listening intently to you. We are well-versed in the scientific evidence of these illnesses, and we are using your experience to inform and strengthen our research program.
Let’s create a ripple effect. Share your story about the disbelief you have experienced by using #DisruptingDisbelief in your social media posts.
Are BHC involved with the CDC? Given the recent events and the MEAction call-to-action, it's clear that the CDC needs to be spoonfed and instructed with painful details about what to do. The goal of this project certainly aligns with that.
