"The ME/CFS pledge for the European elections

We, at the European ME Coalition (EMEC) call upon candidates in the European elections to commit to supporting individuals suffering from Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) by endorsing our pledge. Those who have signed the pledge or actively supported the ME/CFS community in Europe in the past will be listed below on this website. We encourage EU voters to support these candidates in the upcoming elections from 6-9 June 2024.

If you are a candidate in the upcoming elections, you can sign this pledge by emailing us directly at europeanmecoalition@outlook.com."

“There is still time to contact your candidate MEP(s) for the #EUelections2024 from 6-9 June!

Instructions can be found in the tweets below ✍️ you can email or tag politicians on social media.

The more awareness we raise about #MECFS and #LongCOVID the better. ”

Really interesting. It seems mostly left wing parties with a couple of centrists and center right sprinkled in there. With the exception of one far-right politician from belgium.

Having gotten so many people is definitely an achievement. It would be amazing if we could start doing similar things in national elections.
