Forward ME Group Minutes – 17th October 2017

There have been some really annoying recent tweets from that Max Davie guy. The sort of ill-informed pseudo-sophistication I'm not used to seeing post-Tuller. Yuck.

 

I think it was the APPG (All Party Parliamentary Group) that was disbanded, because very few MPs were interested in attending and little progress was made. (I may have remembered this wrongly)

 

There are some who seem to make a habit of sneering at the supposedly ill-informed masses in an attempt to make themselves look more enlightened. They get a bit cranky when it turns out that those masses actually know more about the subject matter

It's safer for them to play the "vexatious militant" and "tone police" cards to avoid real debate, rather than risk looking like a pompous ignoramus again.

 

ME Association have posted about this on Facebook, as far as I can see, they just replicate the minutes on their website.

That summary from them makes it seem odd that there's no mention of Davie being asked about SMILE and LP.
